Vesali is an app for booking doctors in Myanmar. It is made by CodeVowels LLC, 5830 E 2nd St, Casper, WY 82609, United States ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to delete it.
The short version
- We collect only what the app needs to book visits and keep your health records with your doctors.
- Your health information is shown only to you and to doctors you have a confirmed visit with.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for advertising.
- We never handle payments between patients and doctors. You pay your doctor directly.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time: Settings → Delete my account.
What we collect
Everyone
- Name, email address, phone number and password (the password is stored encrypted by our login provider; we cannot read it).
- Notifications we send you, and a device token so your phone can receive them.
- Messages you send to support.
Patients
- Your photo, if you add one.
- Health information you enter: blood type, heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar and notes.
- Appointments: doctor, date, time, type of visit and the reason you give.
- What your doctor records: vitals, medicines, tests, advice, follow-up dates, extra charges, and private notes the doctor keeps for themselves.
- Insurance details and emergency contacts, if you add them.
- Payment claims: which wallet you used, the transaction ID, the amount and an optional screenshot. We do not receive the money.
- Reviews you write and doctors you save as favourites.
Doctors
- Registration number, licence, proof of address and a selfie, used only to verify you.
- Your public listing: specialisation, clinic, hours, fees, photo and description.
- Viber, Messenger, KBZPay and WavePay details and QR codes, shown only to your own patients.
- Subscription status. Payment for subscriptions is handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card.
- Voice recordings, only when you choose to dictate a visit summary. The recording is sent to Google Gemini to be turned into text and is not kept by us.
How we use it
- To book, confirm, move and cancel visits, and to tell you when something changes.
- To let your doctor see the health information they need to treat you.
- To verify that doctors are licensed before patients can find them.
- To answer support requests and keep the service secure.
We do not use your health information for marketing, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
Who can see your information
- Your doctors: only doctors you have a confirmed or completed visit with can see your profile, photo, vitals, insurance and history. Other doctors cannot.
- Other patients: see only a doctor's public listing and reviews. A review shows your first name and an initial.
- Service providers that run the app for us, under contract, only to provide the service:
- Supabase: database, file storage and login.
- Google Firebase: delivering push notifications.
- Google Gemini: turning a doctor's dictated visit summary into text.
- Apple, Google and RevenueCat: doctor subscriptions.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
Where it is stored and how it is protected
Your data is stored with Supabase on servers outside Myanmar. Access is controlled by strict per-person rules in the database. Photos, documents, payment QR codes and screenshots are kept in private storage and opened only through links that expire. Connections to the app are encrypted.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, photo, health records, insurance, contacts, favourites, reviews and files. Upcoming visits are cancelled. A doctor keeps their own record that a past visit took place and what was paid, under the name it was booked in, because clinics must keep such records. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- See and correct your information in the app.
- Delete your account in the app, or by following these steps.
- Turn off notifications in your phone's settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask any question, at contact@codevowels.com.
Children
Vesali is for adults. A parent or guardian may book visits for a child using their own account. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before important changes take effect.
